General Dental Council

The GDC site states the aims of, and provides information on the Council and its activities. There is a latest news section. For patients, there is a description of the complaints procedure. Registration procedures and information on specialist lists is provided. The UK Dentists Register, the Rolls of Dental Auxiliaries and the Specialists Lists may be searched. The specialist lists (at June 2000) are Oral Pathology, Oral Microbiology, Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology, Oral Surgery, Surgical Dentistry, Endodontics, Periodontics, Prosthodontics, Restorative Dentistry, Dental Public Health, Orthodontics, Paediatric Dentistry and Oral Medicine.
