BDA Benevolent Fund a helping hand for all dentists.

The BDA Benevolent Fund provides a much-needed lifeline to dentists and their dependents who are suffering financial difficulty. But this important charity would struggle to carry out its essential work without the generous donations and support of dental professionals throughout the UK.

Since 2007, applications to the Fund have risen by 50%, and the current financial climate means this increase is expected to continue. Falling interest rates mean the Benevolent Fund is even more reliant on donations than ever before, so it can help the families of dentists struggling to cope with stress, illness and poverty. The Fund’s Chairman is keen to show how grateful the Trustees are for all the support they receive each year. ‘’We are enormously grateful for the donations we receive from you over the year…we couldn’t do our work without your generous support’’.

The Benevolent Fund’s work relies on dental professionals reminding needy colleagues, as well as the gifts they receive. Everyone applying to the Benevolent Fund for help should be assured that their application will be considered sympathetically in absolute confidence.
