The BDA Benevolent Fund provides support in times of hardship

The BDA Benevolent fund is a registered charity and there is no Budget for any charges

Created by dentists for dentists, the Benevolent Fund is a registered charity, which was established to provide support and financial help to dentists in times of need. Unexpected events such as illness or accidents can put undue financial and emotional strain on the family unit, but the Benevolent Fund is there to help.

Available to all dentists who have been on the UK dental register, the Fund has a proud history of assisting beneficiaries who have suffered from divorce and stress, accidents and physical and mental illness amongst other things.

As a charity, the Benevolent Fund relies solely on support from the dental profession to fund its services. It also relies on the dental profession to help bring deserving cases that they might otherwise not be aware of, to their attention.

Each application, whatever the cause, is treated with the utmost confidence and, whatever the circumstances, is addressed without judgement.
